EDM #115 Shopping Cart

The challenge was a shopping cart this week. After my trip to NY I was not excited to do this one and did not spend much time on it - The wire basket on wheels just did not inspire me - but I tried. Others have come up with interesting interpretations I admire. Pen in unknown new journal with watercolor added.

Wonderful job on these Sandy. I like both...the first for it's nice colors and composition and the feel of "shopping" and the second one with only the black lines I like for its starkness..I think it is great!

Sandy,
The shopping cart in front of all of the produce is fantastic. Love it! In NYC, mine will be a shopping basket!

I admire you for doing this - and making it interesting! There's some tricky perspective there too. I'm not sure I'm going to do this one - so far, no inspiration...

Intricate details on the shopping cart. Did you take one home for a careful study? (wink & grin)

*1st sketch: like the empty cart before the different array of produce. It looks as if it’s thinking hard on what food to buy.

*2nd sketch: love the “have a nice day” message on the handle. Almost missed it … I guess the discovery made it sweeter.
