Yes - I work full time, clean, shop, bake, wrap, decorate and on and on for the holidays as many of us do - but I am Making time to sketch, for my own sanity. This is a very quick study of candy canes, late into the evening as there was simply little time left last night :-)

Gosh Sandy, I hadn't popped open your blog in several days. Youv'e been busy! I love your single candle eith the little touch of snow at the top of the window. The glow that you captured in your bulb is PERFECT! The detail in the cone (one of the things I keep intending to paint and haven't) it excellent along with the colors youv'e used. I love the shadowing and the look of these candy canes, too!
