First try at Lemon challenge - still cannot achieve my desired results in watercolor alone. This lemon scanned a bit greener than real but overall it still looks more like a papaya or some such?? My pen sketch to the left is a bit truer. I will give it another try.

Ah Sandy! I so know this type of frustration -- but I think you did a fabulous job on this lemon! Shape, size, coloring!!! And I really like mixed media too!!! Keep it up!

These are really good and so different to eachother. I especially like the 'nearside' part of the right hand one. (Does that make sense?) :)
you have done such great sketches which I've missed Sandy...from the transparent plastic to the you beautiful plate and the eyedrops and your little kitchen nook(I'm going to have a coffee now, after seeing it..)I like all your versions of lemons...variations are great, doing different interpretations of the same subject.
