EDM #158 Popcorn Kernel

There is certainly a lot to observe in a single kernel of corn and it can be over worked quite easily. I like the bottom one best.

This is GREAT, SAndy!!! Doesn't it makes you nuts when something so simple looking can be so challenging to sketch!! YOu did a great job!

I can see you have used your powers of observation in this one! You have also gotten the color right on. It's freezing cold today...a bowl of popcorn sounds perfect! Happy Valentine's day my friend!!! Sending you lots of virtual candy hearts in all sorts of colors!

I like the shape of that last one the best, but they are all nicely done, not overworked in the slightest. Such a humble subject but lovely results!

Wow, these are just great Sandy. I have tried popcorn in the past and ended up with white blobs, so I used the popcorn piece to paint with-like daubbing. :)

Really nice - you got the shape and texture of the popcorn perfectly! And popcorn is very hard to draw too.
