Only dashed out to pick a peony. Poor thing loved getting its own vase of water I am sure. A fast and furious sketch for me as I try to become quicker and looser. The orange border just reflected my vision of the day's heat. They promise a break tonight and I am holding them to it!

It's hot here too! I'm trying to catch up with everyone's blogs and wow....have you been busy!!! I loved the colors on the folded flag! Your May series was so much fun to follow! I hope I can participate next year! The peony is lovely, we can't grow them here because it's always too hot! Thanks for your kind words this past week too....it was nice to hear from so many.
