Obviously different languages have different words for items, but I am surprised at the English to American oddities. While in London I picked up a little booklet "English to American Translation" . It is amusing and
fraught with interesting exchanges, this one was quite
sketch-able ;-)
Probably floating a bit too much on the left?

I like your Aubergine :) It's also Aubergine in France- which is obviously where we English get it from :)
The Americans call it eggplant because the original is white like an egg... :)
Loads of information you dont want there LOL
Great job on capturing it!
The colours are so good together and I like the design of your page. Excellent job - well done.
Excellent - you convey beautifully that shiny fragile skin of the 'melanzana' (Italian). A lovely tactile piece.
Fantastic! I love it. My husband loves fried breaded eggplant. Yum.
I love your eggplant, I love the rich colour of aubergine, I even like the taste.
I think it looks amazing! Wonderful color and the reflections are perfect!
I keep considering buying one to draw, but then I'm not sure what I'd do with it.lol
