Around Town #1

I have contemplated sketching around town for some time- I always tend to overwork every detail and end up frustrated and disappointed. Danny's recent class posting on natural frames gave me this idea. I had to make myself STOP and overall I am rather pleased with this rendering. It is pretty accurate too ! So this may be a new mini series to introduce you to my town.

I LOVE this Sandy - you really should do a Guilford sketch book. I also thought the portrait that you posted last week was quite wonderful - Callum was keeping us really busy so I didn't get a chance to do more than fly through the Superblog postings.
