EDM 239 Scare

Granted it is not a worry I live with, fortunately, but the news reports scare me for all involved!

Wow! What a scary thing for sure. We have wild fires in BC, Canada too and they are not pretty. Great page, you have captured it perfectly. Sorry that you have to experience this.

What a generous heart you have - you have had such a busy time in your own life and yet still make space to care about others. This is a great sketch - simple yet electrifying.

Sandy, I've just enjoyed the loveliest visit to your blog. I've only gone back a few pages but each and every entry delights. Your delicate hollyhock, your maps and travel sketches, your sandal and the baby's shoes (congrats on those beautiful grandbabies, by the way). Awesome, delightful memoir you've got going here!

It is a very sad thing. Here we are in beautiful sunny so. cal and I can't even go outside to enjoy it because of such bad air quality due in large part to the fires. My eyes have been so irritated and I've a scratchy throat too. The smell even manages to sneak into our homes, not to mention the ashes in the pool and on cars. Your sketch doesn't even need words, you have captured it perfectly. Can I come live in CT?

you really captured the feeling and look of the flames. Wildfires are soo terrible, especially when you realize what they can do, how fast they move....
