This OLD combination safe sits in our living room as an end table, an interesting piece for sure. It was a gift from an old friend to our then young son who collected coins. It has always stood in the living room, as it weighs 1,000+ pounds (or so it seems). It may stay with the house forever. ;-)
PS it is black with gold paint and lots of rust (iron?) but I could not do that justice.

wow - what a great lock to draw for the EDM challenge, and a great talking piece in the livingroom.
I like the way you have done the gold highlights. Such lovely details in a heavy object
A solid looking lock that seems that it'll last forever :)
I love all the details about it, very nice!
Neat old iron. Bet you don't sweep under it very often.
Nice sketch of a great old piece!
Cool! A very interesting lock, very well done! I love the rust, too.
Hi,
I really like your scetch book pages, it's just like I would like to do a schetch book one day.
And this lock is very nice. Neat piece of furniture too!

You have such flair! I was justs admiring your pages - you set them out so well in such varied ways. I especially love the pages with the leaves, where you have written around one image and across another.
What a great lock to draw. Wow, that makes a really neat end table. How unique and fun.
Boy, that is some lock!! Great capture of a great piece of art and furniture.
