EDM 200 Lucky

Strangely, I found this one very difficult. I decided to reflect on Karma and included my favorite number and color. AND I attempted a very simple line self portrait - which is why I look soooo serious (and I doubt any one would recognize me from this sketch!)

Almost turkey time

Well the holiday rush is here and no rest in sight until January. I hate to wish my life away and I do enjoy the holiDAYS but the frantic rush preceding them drives me NUTS! I did find a little time to reflect here. Sketching is so calming.

This one was quite difficult and I am not really happy - but - it is ,what it is, a learning opportunity. (actually scanned better than it looks ;-)

Truly an everyday matter for me. My two dogs are 9 and 10 year old Labradors retrievers, still very fit and spry but, we all need maintenance. I love my dogs!

EDM 198 Noodles

I adore pasta, any shape and size, One would think I am Italian with my lust for"macaroni" but alas no - just a carb addict! This box is whole wheat spaghetti, I try to eat the healthy version, but I really want the regular pasta, that's probably why this one is still in the cupboard .

It seemed to sneak up on me last year too, but I am now officially 2 years old ( my blog that is) . In looking back I can see major improvement, mostly in my bolder line and value - still there is so much to learn and explore . I am so thankful to EDM for support, encouragement and inspiration. The Lord willing I will have another two years ahead with major fun, freedom and improvement (to my satisfaction that is ;-) Thanks to all of you!!!

Not a fun weekend, as I procrastinated, and now I must pay for it - but the good news, 24 hours of a drop every 2 and it looks and feels much better :-) I learned my lesson!

Wednesday Yoga Class

Wednesday night is our Yoga class. We (my youngest daughter and I) love our instructor, she could not be better, it is such a good class, but the last 15 minutes of dark, soothing relaxation is the Best! The world needs to take yoga!! I am sure it would lead to world peace!
