EDM #122 shade

I interpret this challenge as shadow and found this cool picture of a spider and her web and the resulting shadow - It seemed like a nice variation from what I have been doing lately. My journal's paper did not like the heavy wash so I did not achieve the depth of darkness I wanted - but here it is.

Sandy,
That is so cool! Just came back from Bethesda Fountain with Robbie - and he was fascinated with the camera man on a cart - on a track - filming a movie! Can't wait until your visit!

A Fabulous sketch! I think you succeeded wonderfully with depth in your shadows. I agree with bad things lurking in the dark..I was bitten by a spider earlier this week and he too was lurking in the dark under the foliage!

Both art and words are really nice. I try hard to like spiders, think Charlotte, but still am hesitant to get close. My poison/non poison knowledge isn't good. It was nice to see these from a safe waving distance.
