May is Bursting with rebirth. As I start this Every Day in May challenge, I decided to explore my knowledge of watercolor pigments (and certainly learn a good bit) as I attempt to capture some of the color around me in this month long challenge.
My first post is a rainbow of color from my yard (magnolia) and a gardening catalog loaded with colorful goodies, plus seed packets I just picked up (although the packet's name should be Hart not Heart ;) Certainly each post will not be so energetic, but I am off, to explore and dedicate a bit of every single day in May to my new sketchbook (Aquabee 9x9).

"The colours of May" is a great theme!
I really like the wisteria and magnolia ... You've approached your sketching of each quite differently and have captured their essence very simply.
Those garden hoses could only belong to an artist. :)
I look forward to the rest of your colourful month!

I think you'll really enjoy playing purposely with color this month - and I'll love seeing such colorfully painted sketches. This page is great!
