EDinMay - 28 Freedom

This holiday is special to me and my family. I decided to pay tribute in my sketch journal for this 28th entry in May.

Hey cool. My dad fought in the korean war also. He was wounded (still have the bullet near his heart) and received a purple heart. He doesn't talk about it much. Enjoyed your tribute to those to serve to make America a place for all. :o)

I love all of your Everyday in May sketches (I'm catching up on them now...) but this one especially caught my eye. What a wonderful piece!
