EDM 207 shell

Wow, for some reason Blogger did not want to accept this photo?? Pardon the resolution and general Fog here. I did this sketch rather quickly and loosely which was fun. I have to admit as I reflect on shells they bring back lots of good memories. I believe, like snowflakes, no two are exactly alike. ps - and I am back into my handbook journals, I did not like the Moleskine wc landscape book at all!!

Shells are indeed beautiful! Yours is one of those beauties.

Isn't it funny what we get used to, I love my Moleskine way more than my Handbook.

Oh, I like those handbook journals too.

Great shell!

Excellent shell painting. I bet you have lots from your Maine adventures! Curious as to whether you disliked the landscape format (which you know I also hated), or the Moleskine paper. None of our emails to Moleskine have made a difference, have they?

Beautiful indeed! Love your work.
Do you happen to know of a "jounaling-type" workshop here in Maine???

As always I admire your line and color! I am used to the moleskine now but think it could be improved. What do you mean by a handbook? I am getting ready to make a new sketchbook and was wondering what size yours is? And what paper do you prefer to work on? I love seashells too!

Just gorgeous. I was here earlier, never left a comment as I was reading your Tagged and saw your lovely photograph. Your paintings and writing are always a pleasure to visit.

Great work! That's what I like in a journal entry. Graphic and storyline that dance together. Don't have many shells in Kansas, though.

Sandy, this is really beautiful. It looks luminous. You should try the 2 hour challenge, you will be amazed at what you actually get done!
