EDM 214 - Hobby

Almost 10 years ago I took knitting lessons and found a knitting group that was a Blast (men and women) that took all my time for several years. But - Once I found EDM I had little time for any other Major hobbies. When I saw wire crocheted jewelry I Had to try it - and very much liked it even though the wire is tough on fingers ;-) In doing this sketch and looking at my bead collection and my gorgeous sparklie necklace, I long to do more - it is addictive. Sketching it, combines the two loves quite nicely. I have had so many hobbies in the past - I guess I have always needed to create something in some fashion.

That looks like so much fun to do and the result is airy, with a captured treasure look...

Such a good sketch. The beads look great. You've drawn the jewellery so well.

I have a piece that is on clear plastic that I bought from an artisan. I love it.So jealous that you can do this!!!!

You have some lovely sketches here. Your hobby sounds really interesting - I had not heard of this before - would never have thought of crocheting with wire! Your sketch of your hobby is so pretty.

I am with you ... I've got this new crochet animal/doll thing going and my favorite thing to do with them is draw them when I'm done.

This looks like fun, but too many little parts for me.

Nice journal page!
