EDM 256 Bubbles

I well remember practicing for hours in front of a mirror to achieve a descent bubble - and what a victory it was! Alas, no such luck with two fingered whistling!!! Maybe someday.

LOL, I hear you! I used to be able to whistle well because I had a space between my front teeth. That skill disappeared after dental work, and I never learned to whistle with my fingers. Love the sketch of bubble gum. Blowing hot air is something I have always done well, and still do.

I can't whistle either, but I can blow darn good bubbles. Loved this post, and I really like the little black and white drawing of the house below.

Great memories evoked by your posting! I was a Double Bubble gum fan, myself and usually ended up with gum all over my face. I never mastered the two fingered whistle nor the kind you do without your fingers but without pursing up your lips ... you know the kind that is really loud! I still try to do it sometimes, tho. nancy

Tee-hee-hee! I taught myself bubbles one afternoon when I was sent to the corner as a kid. Thanks for the memory!

Love your rendition of "bubbles"! I remember blowing the big Bazooka bubbles when I was a kid. As an adult, I "crack" gum way too loud and too often.

Goodness, I used to chew this stuff until my jaw hurt!

Well, I can't wistle at all, and I've never blown bubbles of that kind since I don't like chewing-gum (my pupils used to think I was a liar when I told them about this dislike !)Anyway, I like your drawing and your memories made me laugh !

Three lovely sketches since I last visited - and each one so different.
I have never heard of the Thimble islands - what a great name they have. Now I know what one of them looks like!
