EDin May #21 2010 Antique

I have quite a few large old crocks, I love the old glazes and imperfections - each is totally unique. Not sure if this is truly antique (100+ years old) but it was before the rubber gasket jars used for preserving, it has an iron clamp gizmo that does close it securely.

This is so beautifully painted! I enjoyed looking through your EDinM posts. You are doing great! Enjoyed a chuckle over the one of your dog in bed - so cute!

Wow!! This is fabulously painted! I love how you've handled the whites. And I really like how the colors enhance the antiquity of the jar!
