Gump- try 1 and try 2

Better here, more of his "attitude" and less fussed with. I better get some practice in, I have two puppies coming in a few weeks! not so good
No inspiration lately, even with spring springing up here finally, I still feel like I am hibernating - so I picked up my pen and forced myself to draw Gump, my daughters 7 month old bull mastiff . Too fussy, and not a real likeness, even though he held still for a cookie.

Famous-Infamous

Faces are so hard to portray but fun to try - The images of Ms Taylor led me to try her beautiful face, and the counterpoint seemed obvious. They both demonstrate that fame and money do not guarantee happiness.

Ted Williams

I was so inspired by this man's story I had to enter it in my blog (last week!) I simply could not get it uploaded though. So here it is, sure hope he can mainstream in tact.

Portriat Challege #Two

Portriat Challenge #2 Female- again drawn upside down which is Amazing to Just Draw What I See and not fuss about what I think things should be - I do have a problem wih lips - for some reason I just cannot draw what I see in the mouth no matter what the angle . Certainly need to work on them - These portriat challenges are so different for me and FUN!
Pencil in Moleskine journal followed by some pen and Watercolor

Portriat Challenge #One

My try at the portriat challenge Jana Bloc posed - Fun - especially as I have not really done any face sketching. Certainly did not capture him completely but I think there is a resemblence. (did most of it upside down ) pencil in moleskine, ink and watercolor wash
